What is the difference between leasing and staff recruitment?

Leasing means that you are appointed by Powerserv, but work at a client company. When your assignment at the client company comes to an end, we'll arrange a follow-on assignment at another company.

Staff recruitment means we find a suitable job for you at a client company. The employment contract covering all your rights and obligations will be concluded between you and our client company.

As a temporary worker, am I "properly" employed and who is my employer?

Powerserv appoints you and is therefore your employer in accordance with all the rights and obligations under employment law.

Which social security benefits do I have as a temporary worker?

You enjoy the full rights and obligations of an employment contract, i.e. statutory notice periods, social security entitlements, holidays, sick pay, maternity leave, etc.

How long will my assignment at the client company last?

That depends entirely on the customer and their requirements. The assignment may be for a couple of days, but also several weeks/months, depending on whether only a temporary replacement is required or there is a need for long-term staff to work on a specific project.

Can I work anywhere?

We'll decide where you work together. Because satisfied employees are our most important asset. But you should have a certain degree of flexibility and be curious about new tasks.

As a temporary worker, what are my chances of the customer hiring me?

In our experience, companies offer full employment to around one in five temporary workers following their assignment. But this is all the more likely to happen if the client company is really satisfied.

Will I earn less as a temporary worker than if I were employed directly by the client company?

Collective agreements apply to temporary work, so fair wages are guaranteed. Depending on your education, expertise, qualifications and experience, you'll receive at least the standard industry and local wage.

Kann sich Zeitarbeit negativ auf meinen Lebenslauf auswirken?

Precisely the opposite. As a temporary worker, you demonstrate flexibility, willingness to learn and commitment. Prospective employers will appreciate these qualities. This is why client companies frequently snap up our temporary employees.

Is temporary work only for low-skilled workers?

No, because agency temps are now employed in virtually all areas and levels of business. This is why Powerserv has a variety of qualified employees such as IT specialists and engineers on its books.

What happens if my assignment at the customer comes to an end and Powerserv can't find another company for me to work in?

Your Powerserv Customer and Job Consultant will make every effort to find you a suitable job as quickly as possible. You will continue to draw your salary, even if an assignment at a client company does not immediately become available.

What happens if the company where I work offers me employment?

That's not a problem. We'd be delighted for you to be offered this opportunity after 6 months, especially as you can see in advance whether you'll be happy with the job on offer, the working atmosphere, your colleagues and the environment.

Will I be trained, even as a temporary worker?

We strongly encourage our temporary workers to attend training courses. There is a variety of customised training courses specifically for this purpose. Simply discuss the matter with your Customer and your Job Consultant
